Pekabex hat als erstes Unternehmen in Polen aktiv an Tunnelbauprojekten unter der Verwendung von Tunnelbohrmaschinen teilgenommen. Das waren die ersten Bauteile dieser Art, die in Polen hergestellt wurden. Die weitere Erschwernis bestand in der Lage des Tunnels unter dem Weichselbett.
