Year 2022 is the 50th anniversary of the Pekabex Group. We usually look ahead, prepare strategies and plan. Today comes a time when we can look back at our achievements, successes and experiences.<\/p>\n
In the world 1972 was the year when the Soviet Luna 20 probe and the American manned Apollo 16 landed on the moon, premieres of “The Godfather” – film directed by Francis Ford Coppola and “Solaris” directed by Andrei Tarkowski based on the novel of the same title by Stanis\u0142aw Lem, the Summer Olympic Games took place in Munich, Richard Nixon withdrew US troops from Vietnam, the treaty on the accession of Denmark, Ireland and Great Britain to the European Community was signed in Brussels, “Bloody Sunday” took place in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n
In Poland it was the year of the premiere of the series “Pan Samochodzik i Templariusze” and “Ch\u0142opi”, the commencement of the construction of Huta “Katowice”, the transfer of car Syrena production to Bielsko-Bia\u0142a and the commencement of the licensed production of Coca-Cola by Browary Warszawskie, commissioning of Hala Olivia in Gda\u0144sk. At the Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan, ski jumper Wojciech Fortuna won the first Olympic gold medal in winter sports for Poland.<\/p>\n
Pekabex has planned many events for the coming year – for our employees, customers and business partners. We want to boast of what we have achieved and celebrate this extraordinary anniversary with pride. Remarkable because, as you can see, we have gone through many economic and political changes, and we have changed so much ourselves.<\/p>\n
